B-Freed Photography

We came from the UK to get married in Central Park and Brian's website was the first one I found when I googled 'reasonably priced photographer in New York'. That search might seem like a tall order but Brian fitted the bill exactly. The pictures on his website weren't the stuffy photographs you get so use to at wedding, they captured something so special that I knew as soon as I saw the first photograph on his website that he was the right man for the job. I sent my first enquiry and he got back to us almost immediately and I felt like we were friends straight away. He listens to what you want, he throws in his own great ideas and he was extremely accommodating with the timings of the day. Paying a deposit to secure his services was a piece of (wedding) cake We exchanged several emails prior to the big day and I think at one point Brian was more excited than us! His enthusiasm both before and on the day was infectious. We arranged to meet at Central Park and there he was right on time and snapping away. We gave him the nickname Snappy during the day as he is constantly there but never intrusive. Sometimes you would actually forget he was beside you. Brian fitted into our small group effortlessly and he was a joy to have with us. After the ceremony and photos in Central Park (including hot dogs!) we got in the limo, all drank champagne and took the party to Times Square! I was nervous about this bit - walking in Times Square in a wedding dress, but it was a blast with so many people congratulating us and Brian just getting some fabulous natural shots of us and our friends. I wanted the 'crossing' shot that was the photo I saw of another couple on his website and we got it. Everyone who sees it is blown away by it. Brian suggested taking it to Bar 45 and these are some of my favourite shots with some of them looking like an editorial in a glossy magazine. By the time we landed back in the UK Brian had sent us some preview shots that I could not stop looking at. I showed them off at every available opportunity and everyone was absolutely amazed at the uniqueness of them with many commenting that they wished they had had a photographer like that at their wedding. Brian made all of us look so glamorous and I waited with baited breath for the remaining photographs and two weeks later, as promised, I got the email with the download. I've just put my wedding photo book together and I don't think I've missed a single one of the photos out (and there was over 200 to choose from!) Deciding to get married in New York City, great decision. Deciding to use Brian as our photographer, best decision ever!

I found Brian on the internet and fell in love with his images. From Scotland and getting married in NYC i wanted my photos to reflect the charm of New york and Brian knew exactly where to take us to capture this. He was so easy to talk to and put us at ease straight away. With all the communication id had with him before our big day he already felt like a friend and I was excited to finally meet with him. We had a truely perfect wedding day in New York and I really feel Brian made a huge contribution to making this happen! Brian photographed our intimate New York City wedding. We just got our photos back, and I could not be happier! He knows how to really highlight the city, as well as his subjects, and he captured every last little detail of our ceremony & reception. Now the hard part will be narrowing the photos down for our album!

Brian is fantastic A lot of brides on various wedding forums had said good things about Brian. I checked his website and fell in love with his images, so my husband and I met up with him on a visit to New York before the wedding. Brian was so friendly, he immediately put us both at ease and we knew that he was the person that we wanted to book. He introduced me to Lisa, who is his UK support. It was left entirely up to me whether I would like to speak to her and I am glad I did – she had loads of contacts and suggestions and was an invaluable help when my venue and restaurant closed shortly before the date! On the day of the wedding, we had planned to go to the various landmarks for pictures, but it was absolutely hammering down with rain all day. Brian was on it straight away, suggesting locations that were indoors, or had shelter, but still were still unmistakably New York . The pictures were stunning - unlike any others I had seen before. Brian really seemed to capture our personalities and recorded the day perfectly. We have had so many compliments about the pictures, many people have said that they would like to get married or renew their vows in New York just so they can have similar photos taken by Brian!

We travelled from Scotland to get married in Central Park on 1st September and we are very happy we picked Brian Friedman to capture our day. He took amazing, beautiful and natural photographs that bring back great memories every time we look at them, which is a lot! We had read some great reviews and liked the photos on Brians website and we certainly were not disappointed with our own photos. Brian was very friendly and always responded to emails promptly. We booked Brian for two hours and on the day of the wedding he put us at ease and made the experience of getting our photos taken really enjoyable. Two hours probably wasnt long enough with Brian. We had so much fun it would have been good to have had more time. We would definately reccommend him for your wedding photographer.

We would highly recommend Brian as THE New York Wedding Photographer of choice! After seeing his photos of other UK couples, we knew he was the man for the job, he was the first part of our wedding that we booked. Also, Paul being a wedding photographer here in the UK meant that it was one of the most important choices for us. Our only regret is that we didn't book him for long enough, three hours went so quickly and we were really getting into the swing of things when we ran out of time!! Be warned, book Brian for as much time as you can manage, you won't be disappointed.........We now have our wonderful images and are having trouble chosing which ones to put in our album!!

We got married in new york in July 2011 and brian shot our wedding. From the moment that we met he put us at ease and made our day really enjoyable!!! My husband was not looking forward to getting photos taken but at the end of the photos he said that he really enjoyed every minute because brian did not have us posing but took natural, fun, hip and fantastic shots. Everyone said that our photographs are unique, special, really artistic and the best wedding photos they have ever seen.....i could not agree more!!! Seriously dont even concider another photographer, everyone who has seen our photos (and thats a lot) has said that our photos look like they are from a bridal magazine, or that they are that amazing we look like models! Brian is such a lovely man, he is so helpful, exciteable, warm and funny he made our wedding day even more perfect, our guests are still taking about bri-dog, b-dizzle, briyannn as they all knicknamed him. We got married in New York and live in France. From the moment we contacted Brian by email, I knew he was the one for us, as he was responsive and made us feel at ease from the moment we contacted him. We love his work - natural and artistic photos, he really knows how to capture those special moments. We loved his work so much we met again on our anniversary to do another photo shoot and he amazed yet again. We would recommend Brian to anyone and look no further. You will not be disappointed. Not to mention Brian sent us a few snapshots of our wedding on the night of our wedding - so we could send our photos to our families back home. Brian also chose all the photos for our album and thanks to him we have a memorable day to look back on.

Perfect perfect perfect. Brian is a talented photographer who took the most beautiful photographs which captured the best day for us. Brian is an incredibly talented photographer. Having seen his work on his website we had no doubt who we would choose for our wedding in NYC. Brian was responsive to all our queries and really professional and reassuring throughout. Nearer the time we chatted over the phone about the day and timings and on the day when it rained, Brian was the one telling me that the light was better in the rain and the photos would look amazing, and they do! So many of our family and friends have commented that they have never seen wedding photos like them, we still can't believe it ourselves, they really are something special and unique. If there is one thing I would recommend anyone to do when getting married in New York, it would be book Brian Freedman for your photography. He went out of his way to help us out prior to our wedding, and on the day he was a total professional and made us feel comfortable and the experience enjoyable. He totally understood our needs and we received our photos quicker than expected. The quality of the photos are amazing and again exceeded our expectations, couldn't of asked for any more. On top of all of that, he's a top guy and a pleasure to be around.

I can't praise Brian Friedman enough, from the moment we contacted him he has been very responsive and has offered good advice along the way. This was very much appreciated especially as we organised our wedding in New York from back home in the UK. Brian is one of the nicest guys we have ever met and genuinely wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. He made us feel very relaxed on the day as we were both a little nervous having our photo taken, in fact alot of the time we forgot he was there quietly snapping away! Brian photographed my wedding over Memorial Day and we could not be happier with the experience. He was easy to work with, incredibly supportive and encouraging while shooting (made everyone feel like models) and his pictures were creative and beautiful. First of all, you can't help but love Brian as soon as you meet him... he's just awesome. And, second of all, he takes incredible photos. Being in another country and bring to organise the most special day of your life is daunting, however, the service we received before, during and after our wedding has been second to none!
