I was married on 10/8/2011 and used Go Glam Beauty for my Hair and Makeup. I had previously had problems with other companies because I had a small wedding party. That was no problem with Joann and her team. I even had a last minute time change and JoAnn herself came out on time to do me and my MOH hair and Makeup. I never had any worries. I was always able to contact her with no problems. She would respond to my emails within minutes. Excellent service all around! I would recommend her to future brides.

I love Joann! I just got married September 24, 2011 and she did an awesome job! We were on a time crunch and she did my hair and makeup and my three bridesmaids and my mother all in time for my wedding! We all received so many compliments and I was 100percent satisfied with my look. I felt so pretty,which is important for a bride :) I also loved the fact that she traveled to my hotel where I was staying. She was warm friendly and professional. Go Glam Beauty Rocks!

The party started when JoAnn arrived at my hotel room! She was positive, attentive, creative, diligent, flexible, professional, patient and hilarious. The atmosphere in the room was fun and carefree, everything I wanted. I decided that I wanted a different hairstyle than what we did for the trial. JoAnn listened to my preferences and worked with me until it was exactly how I wanted it to be. I can’t thank her enough for her patience with me and my unruly hair. She truly calmed me down during that time. JoAnn’s make-up abilities matched her hair expertise. I loved how my make-up looked and how light it felt. My mom, mother-in-law, bridesmaids (5), and flower girl all looked amazing and were also very pleased with the outcome! I received so many compliments that day on both my hair and make-up. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!

JoAnn did PHENOMENAL make-up for my bridesmaids, mother, and myself on my wedding day! She was easy to work with and really listened to all of our concerns. My mother was originally very skeptical about having her make-up done, but JoAnn made her a true believer! JoAnn's optimism and humor are truly infectious, which every bride could use on her wedding day! She helped to keep everyone calm and in good spirits. JoAnn even did the hair of one of my bridesmaids at no extra charge when we were in a time crunch (and it looked awesome). I received so many compliments on her work.If all this wasn't enough, JoAnn came at a very fair price, which is hard to find when planning a wedding in NYC.

JoAnn was awsome!!!!!!!!! She was very attentive and patient with me and my bridal parties. I had two trials both hair and makeup. She suggested that if I was not happy with the first trial and I can come back to do it again. I really didn't mind b/c I wanted the make up and the hair to be perfect. For the 2nd trial, she took her time and it was exactly how I picture it in my mind. She was an hour early on the day of the wedding and made me look perfect for my special. My hubby and everyone else loved the makeup/hair. I received so many compliments that day and still now when people look at the wedding pictures. Great work JoAnn.

I only met JoAnn the morning of my wedding as I had travelled from England to marry in NewYork. My bridesmaid and I didnt have a picture of what makeup and hair style we wanted, we just gave her a rough idea and she went to work on us and the results were FANTASTIC!!! My bridesmaid and I were complimented all day and when friends and family saw the photos they loved the style JoAnn had created for us. I cant thank her enough, she is AMAZING. Its like your sitting with a great friend when you are with her, she puts you at ease and we had a great laugh together. Every step of the way JoAnn kept intouch with me in the uk. JoAnn was a lot of fun to work with. She not only made me & my girls look beautiful, she also kept the mood lively by chatting & joking with us which eased all our jitters. She did a fantastic job on my hair & makeup - I lost count of how many people told me how great I looked. I felt gorgeous & was sad to take off my makeup at the end of the night. JoAnn was also very professional. She showed up early and was flexible when we ended up adding 2 more people to get their hair & makeup done at the last minute. If you want to look amazing & have someone fun doing it, JoAnn is your girl. She is a true professional & you can't go wrong with her.

Joann arrived earlier than schedule which assured me my day was going to be perfect. She was very nice and easy to work with. She always kept the conversation flowing which was great for my nerves. Thanks for that!!!!!! We were late as it took longer than expected to do hair and make-up but she was a perfectionist and I looked gorgeousssss!!! I would like to consider it being very fashionably late! She took care of my mom and made her glamerous! Over all, Joann was GREAT! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Joanne is simply great! Not only does she do amazing work with hair and makeup, she is also a pleasure to be around. She is meticulous, detail oriented and great with color. She did my makeup for a city hall wedding and then again for a ceremony & reception with friends and family. She perfectly captured my vision for each, transforming me both times into the best version of myself. I highly recommend her for her expertise, as well as her sweet and funny personality!

I would like to think I was an overall calm bride who did not stress the process too much. But I did care a great deal about my hair, and very much not wanting to look back at my pictures regretting the style I had chosen. I was introduced to Joann through a referral, and from the start she was incredibly professional and easy to set up a trial with. I loved my hair at the trial, and enjoyed getting to know her better. A few months had past and I had second thoughts on putting up hair all up, and instead decided a half updo would be best (and then changed my mind a few times over). Joann totally put me at ease that on the day of the wedding we could figure it out. Her final product surpassed my expectations, and to boot it held through out the whole night of intense dancing! She has an excellent ability to come up with a vision that matches the client to a T.

She was AMAZING!! JoAnn arrived ahead of time and did an amazing job. I got so many compliments and still continue to get compliments on my photos. I would recommend her to everyone.

JoAnn did a fantastic job doing my hair and makeup for my wedding (as well as the hair and makeup of my mom....which was no small task, I might add). She is a super talented and extremely responsible, and showed up promptly on time (both at the trial as well as the day of...and even braved a wicked snow storm to do a trial for my mom). I felt great the day of and people kept telling me how beautiful I looked...and my mom looked stunning as well. I mean really stunning. My mom has very thin hair and was very concerned about her hair looking full, so JoAnn created weaves for her, and my mom looked like a super model. To boot, JoAnn is fun to work with, and proved herself to be very energetic and funny (telling jokes throughout our time spent together). I highly recommend her services!

I found JoAnne on wedding wire and I am so glad I did! She was fun, confident and had me looking like a million bucks. I was on a budget and she was able to do what I wanted and all my girls and my mother with what I could afford. Her assistant Kari (or carrie) was amazing and my girls loved her. We all looked so beautiful and it was a great experience to work with them. A lot of fun! Highly recommend!

Joann was a pleasure to work with as I hired her services for my wedding hair and makeup. She is open minded to understand exactly the look I wanted. She is not on her own agenda of what she thinks is best, she listened to MY ideas to execute what I envisioned. That is true professionalism and serving her customer. JoAnn at Go Glam Beauty was absolutely phenomenal on my wedding day. I did a trial with her and was hooked, I have very fine hair and she made this gorgeous full looking bun out of nothing!! On my wedding day she did all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup including the mother's of the bride and groom. Everyone looked beautiful and natural. No one looked like they had heavy makeup on (because they didn't). Everyone felt very comfortable and happy with her styles and techniques. JoAnn is amazing. I will recommend her services to anyone who is getting married or has a big upcoming event in their lives!

JoAnn was amazing!!! The morning of my wedding I was a wreck. I hadn't slept the night before due to anixety and I had a fight with my bridesmaids hours before my wedding which left me in tears. JoAnn came in with her calming presence and took me from a puffy eyed mess and made me look FANTASTIC!! I received so many compliments on my makeup. Make-up was done by Joann for my wedding June 2010. So she was absolutely amazing and incredibly professional! Professionalism and pride in ones job is truly important to me and it is obvious that she takes pride in what she does and is well trained. My initial meeting was after a 30 hr shift (I'm a resident and chronically tired). We met at her studio for test run so she could she my facial structure and skin type. Prior to meeting she actually asked for photos of my face and dress, which kind of impressed me, as it showed she was serious. Aft test session, my makeup was flawless and I actually looked well rested, which aft no sleep is amazing. For my wedding, Joanne was very prompt and brought an assistant for skin prep and airbrushing. She did my make-up, my 5 bridesmaids and my mother. My bridesmaids were multi-ethnic incl blond with very fair skin, asian with olive skin, light complexion african american and ebony skin tones and they were all flawless. The make-up also lasted through the night and withstood dancing and eating without touch-ups. The photos look great. I got the full works incl false eyelashes, which looked real. I am not a makeup person and I looked exactly how I wanted which was dressed up but still natural. Highly recommend Joann for any skin type.

If you're getting married in New York don't go to anyone but JoAnn. JoAnn and Carrie did my hair and make-up plus 4 others, her timing was perfect and she was so calm and professional which kept me calm. I arrived in New York 3 days before the wedding and JoAnn met me, creating my look from looking at a photo I provided. She's an absolute miracle worker, our hair and makeup was stunning! Her sense of humour, responsiveness and service were first class. She is highly recommended. WE LOVE YOU JOANN!!! x x x
