I called Ara up as we got closer to the wedding because I realized there were some things I could not do myself, nor did I trust anyone else to do them. I had a strong vision for the design I wanted on the day of my wedding. But I could not be there to execute it. What to do? Ara came through. She styled the venue on the day of. She worked so well with my florist. The table card set up was exactly what I dreamed--the table covered with beautiful orchids and birch vases. The cards were placed on japanese grass mats and looked very clean and designy. The dinner tables were set up flawlessly, with a real attention to the "guest experience." As my husband said after our wedding, if Ara had not been there, I probably would have been so worried about what the venue looked like that I might not have been able to let go and enjoy the day. I think at first he wasn't sure why I needed an on site designer. Now he knows that it made me more relaxed, and that is exactly what he wanted too. Ara is a true professional with an easy going personality who gets things done beautifully. Having her there on the day of your wedding will surely prevent any worry...

Ara was a pleasure to work with, and her strengths were definitely the styling of the wedding - she was creative, receptive, but also practical in her advice. She has a very sunny personality but is firm when it comes to work, which is a perfect combination. Her ability to break down services a la carte makes it possible to retain her excellent services for much less than a more traditional wedding planner.

Did such a wonderful job! Had great suggestions/ alternatives and helped me make decisions that were way to difficult for me to make on my own. Life saver! I had to change the timing of the wedding because I got married on the day of the hurricane, Ara was there and ready to work and get everything set up in time!!

My husband and I can not say enough about Ara and her amazing team at Rock Paper Scissors! From the very beginning they were professional, flexible, creative and so great to work with. Ara came up with ideas for our wedding that we would never have thought of and she executed all of them beautifully. We were also so impressed with how conscientious she was of our budget. Ara was sooooo helpful in giving me advice to pull together my colors and centerpieces. I incorporated many of her wonderful ideas into my wedding day and was very happy with how it all turned out. I love her aesthetic, and I would totally recommend her without hesitation.
